Sometimes, you meet someone and you know from Jump Street that they’re going to be in your life for a mighty long time. It’s probably happened to most of you and it’s happened to me. It’s a bit coincidental that it appears the author of the story I’m covering here met his special someone in 2019. That’s the same year I met Ashley.

The Journey with ToughKenaMan’s “She Said Hey” is a song that encapsulates that feeling. From the first time he and his special someone met all the way through now, “Hey” takes us on a journey (pun unintended) through love and its stages. It’s got a distinct old-meets-new-school feel to it, as the lyrics and vocals blend well with the production. Love is a beautiful thing. That’s especially when it’s an unconditional love that comes out of nowhere, changing your perception of the idea of love. That is the type of love shown here and it’s the type of love we should all aspire to give and get.
