The focus track off SNRK’s I’m Good, HBU? project, “Hot Planet” is a mix between bouncy pop-rap/mainstream production and conscious hip-hop lyrics. It’s kind of like a Kendrick Lamar track from DAMN. This is, honestly, the hottest (pun slightly intended) song I’ve heard from the duo since I first came across them. SNRK speak on climate change, the way the planet’s getting screwed over (by corporations and by overextending resources), and manages to do so all under the guise of a poppy head-nodding sort of track. Bravo, brothermen, bravo. The visualizer (below) is pretty damn tongue-in-cheek as well. Check it all out below and support dope music in all its forms.
