The song speaks on being in a sticky situation with a potential love interest, and trying to channel feelings properly. The title of the song sums up the situation perfectly. ‘Weird’. From a spectators point of view things would look romantic, a symbol of love. But from the inside looking out, nothing is confirmed. There is no title on the situation. But yet it feels like it is more than what it is. 

I love the production on this one as well as the honesty. I’m sure most of us have been in this situation at least once, thinking things are romantically heating up when the other person’s “just having fun” or is still “technically single,” even though you’ve been talking to each other for forever.
