While the song itself is a bit on the mainstream side, the content is solid. That’s because the duo present a track about a “baddie” who doesn’t need funds from any guy. The song is equal parts “She Got Her Own” and hard-hitting lyrics to create a vibe of sensuality but also realness. I like the smoky production on this song as well. The narrator of the song knows that this woman isn’t here to play games–and neither is the narrator. Sometimes, you’ve got to hustle together to get what you and your special someone want and need. Now, that is something I’m definitely here for. Check out “Bad One” and support dope music in all its forms.
