A song that takes a page from artists like Kid Cudi, Kendrick and Chance the Rapper, DMV native Marques Martin’s “Blessings and Curses” is a great introduction to the artist. Additionally, I love the wordplay and lyricism on this. If this is the future of the DMV rap scene, I’d like to say, with artists like Marques, the future’s in good hands.
