A conscious rap track with a slightly out-of-place beat, “Auras” makes up for its contemplative bars over a slightly more party-ish West Coast-like beat in bunches. For starters, B3AM rides the beat and delivers lyrics about trying to make things better for himself and those around him. I’m here for that. On top of that, he’s got a pretty tight hold on his ability to rhyme. In other words, the brother’s got bars. Finally, the production doesn’t really hinder the song. In fact, the more you listen to it, the more you can see “hey, this message is a lot more digestible over this sort of production.” Check out “Auras” below and support dope music in all its forms.
