Above, we’ve got the latest from Cali native iE-Z, “TopSpeed.” I think the best way to describe this is “Ty Dolla $ign without as many harmonizing segments.” In fact, that was originally the reason I passed on this one. The song has a simple premise: let’s catch a vibe and ride it until the wheels fall off. With that in mind, I caught the vibe the second time through and rode it until the end. What I got was a pretty fun song about doing things, well, at top speed and enjoying life for what it is–not for what it could’ve been or what it isn’t.
