A cut from his upcoming Nvmnd album, it truly is reminiscent of early 2000s rap/R&B love songs. That’s because of the vocals from Ruby Flambé but also because of the overall vibe of the song. It’s cute without being overbearing, lovely without alienating people, raw emotion without screaming and crying. I love the track because, well, it’s a love song about a true blue, honest-to-goodness real love. I love that as a concept and I love that idea for my own life. It’s what I try and live by.
