Mostafa Speaks on Seeking an “Always Afternoon” Time with His Love

A song about “the euphoric feeling of true connection and unconditional love with a partner,” this one is a bit of a break from Mostafa’s usual reflective tracks. A cut from his upcoming Nvmnd album, it truly is reminiscent of early 2000s rap/R&B love songs. That’s because of the vocals from Ruby FlambĂ© but also because of the overall vibe of the song. It’s cute without being overbearing, lovely without alienating people, raw emotion without screaming and crying. I love the track because, well, it’s a love song about a true blue, honest-to-goodness real love. I love that as a concept and I love that idea for my own life. It’s what I try and live by.
