Rare Material “Called Your Bluff” About a Relationship

Love is great, love is kind. However, sometimes, you end up in a friends-with-benefits situation that feels one-sided. What I mean is someone catches real live feelings and the other person doesn’t want commitment. Yes, I know it’s Valentine’s Day (and National Side Chick Day is tomorrow). However, the haunting vibes of Rare Material’s “Called Your Bluff” made me want to write about it on V-Day. It’s a PND sort of track about, well, not wanting to be tied down. I remember those days, specifically when I was in my hoe phase in 2012. It eventually gets tiring. However, RM isn’t at that point yet, as evidenced by the song. That’s not a bad thing, y’all. Sometimes you’ve got to go through a FWB phase to figure out what you really want. Check out the track below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
