Mutual Groove Just “Started Livin’”

I think it’s better if I let the group tell you where this one came from.

Started Livin’ derived from Joel [vocalist] getting out of jail and feeling like he couldn’t make any of his goals come to fruition. Roadblocks were plentiful and it seemed like all he could do was be grateful for what he had in the moment. Finally coming out of the rut, we shout for joy as things start to look up.

That’s a pretty damn powerful song pitch if I’ve ever heard one. It helps that the song is also reminiscent of ‘70s funk and R&B. Overall, the song is potent, funky and fun. That’s all you can ask for—and then some. Check out the track below and support dope music in all its forms.
