I really love the minimalistic approach Jonny Virgo (bars) and Kong the Artisan (beats) took on this one. It especially works because of the subject matter. “Face the Sun” is a tribute to Jonny’s brother, legendary UK bouncer and personality Mighty Man. It’s a meditation on loss and all that comes with it, from bargaining with God to eventually accepting the loss (even if it still stings years later).
