British singer/songwriter CHERISE has made her debut on SOTB with “Secrets.” The song is a tribute to self (specifically being true to oneself and letting people–who you trust and love, of course–into your world). I love the vocals and the lyrics. The vocals, though, are heavenly in their approach. They have this calming effect to them, that washes over you and embraces you in a hug of sorts. It’s okay to be you, the song essentially preaches. This is the first single from her new album, which will potentially drop later this year.
