Featuring DAPHYA and Monma, “Nightsky” is a neo-soul-like rap track about self-healing as well as finding love in the darkness. Sonically, it reminds me of something you’d hear from The Foreign Exchange, down to the Phonte-like lyricism. That’s not a bad thing at all, because the sound is smooth and the lyrics are very introspective. This song features on Dominick’s upcoming Lost in the Found EP, which deals with how, sometimes, “being lost in times of discovery” has an effect on us.
