Estella Dawn Sings About Toxic Desires on “Cotton Candy”

Too much of anything can be bad for you. So what happens when what you’re having too much of is already bad from the jump? Singer/songwriter (and one of my favorite artists) Estella Dawn explores these “toxic desires” and their effect on people on her new track. “Cotton Candy” is, in a word, infectious. In another word, it’s sexy. It balances lust and concern for how lust-filled one gets around this toxic person and all the things they do. That duality makes for a very interesting track.

On top of all that, the song is great. That’s because it’s got a lot of different elements, from R&B to dance-pop—and they all work well together. Check out the song below, be on the lookout for more from Estella, and do the thing: support dope music in all its forms.
