I love the vocals presented here, as Holley’s got a playful-but-powerful thing going for her vocals. They’re very strong, kind of like a mix between Faith Evans and Jhene Aiko in some ways. What I mean is that they’re strong, but also have a slight pop tinge to them as well. I also love the double entendres within the song, as they walk right up to the line of overly suggestive but don’t cross into crass territory. On top of that, the production is also top-notch, as it has an old-school R&B feel to it that still feels quite modern and at home on a 2010s/2020s R&B playlist. Check out the track above, be on the lookout for more from the singer/songwriter and do the SOTB thing: support dope music in all its forms.
