EightyEight is Tired of the “Games”

Getting his DVSN on, SOTB newcomer EightyEight’s “Games” is trapsoul with a bit of regular soul. The song is about, as you’d expect, someone playing games with Eighty’s heart and mind and how he’s getting tired of the BS. I’ve been there, which is probably why I rock with this song as heavy as I do. The Massachusetts native’s got a firm control on his vocals and songwriting abilities. I think that’s also because he draws from Future and Bryson Tiller as much as he does from Prince and The Isleys. The vocals are very emotive and the lyrics are equally emotionally-charged. Check out the song below and support dope music in all its forms.
