Moonsyde describes themselves as an “alternative/lo-fi rock, runk and R&B band.” I couldn’t think of any better way to describe them because that’s what they seem to be. Their latest track, “High Tide (Muay Thai)” is a beautiful cut. That’s because it’s soulful, from the heart and even a bit of wistfulness in there for good measure. I mean, the song is about a long-distance relationship. If we didn’t have those three elements, the song wouldn’t have the same emotional and mental thump to it. I’m curious to see what the group’s next track will sound like. That’s because they have an acoustic Silk Sonic sort of thing going. Check out the track above and support dope music in all its forms.
