Stacey Kelleher Presents “UFO”

I love this one, especially because of its sonic qualities. It’s like a combination of dreamy alt-pop and 1990s “earnesty”/honesty. Take that, filter it through a strainer that adds in self-doubt and self-assurance, and you’ve got “UFO.” The song itself is a pop track about relationships, specifically those ones that seem “too perfect.” When you take that idea, blend in the sound I described and then serve it up to an audience? I don’t know about you, but I ate that s*** up. Kelleher’s vocals are top notch and very emotive, something that could’ve been missing from a track of this kind. That helps her lyrics, which are co-written by Cole Miracle and Emily Gurklis, hit you in the chest with their earnest nature. Check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.
