I dug in the Soundcloud crates for this one (read: I got this one sent in my inbox and saw that it needed a ton of love because it’s dope AF).

This is a song that kind of reminds me of something I would’ve done in my Ms. Pink Jacket days. Hopefully Jay Wonder doesn’t take that as a sneak diss considering my history with Ms. Pink Jacket. It’s more so that the song is innocent in its approach (a “love song kinda thing,” as Jay describes it, that mixes early-2000s Fab with mid-2000s Charles Hamilton vibes). Featuring a Ruff Endz sample (ay Bmore R&B from the 90s and early 2000s), Jay speaks on the girl he wants to “solve mysteries with” a la Daphne. I’m definitely here for this one.
