THISISMARLOW, in new visuals for his “Money” freestyle, says that, instead of Ruth’s Chris, he’s going to take the woman he just got it in with to Checkers. Now, fast food choices aside–Checkers is trash, aside from the fries to me–MARLOW keeps it pretty grimy on this track (as a matter of fact, treating a jump-off to Checker’s keeps in line with that). With lines like “you can die lit, like you fuckin’ with Carti,” MARLOW gives this one a personal feel that makes it feel more like an actual song versus just a few bars over a hot beat.

While I never completely forgot that this was a Cardi B beat, we still get quite a few quoteables. Every line gave me another look into the life MARLOW lives. That aforementioned personal feel definitely kept me listening on this one. It was a freestyle, but it was an entertaining freestyle.
