Saturn, Alexander has been on my radar for a while now. The anime fan, writer, and artist has put her all into everything she’s put out–and it shows. Even before she offered me a space to write on her site, I said “alright, Saturn has dope music. Lemme support because she’s real with it.” Her latest track, “Moon In Capricorn,” keeps that same energy.

However, things get a bit more “Ima do what I want” on this one.

Essentially giving the listener a rundown of this sign placement (Saturn’s moon is actually in Cancer)–and why she can’t rock with you–Saturn goes off on the B. The Architect-produced beat. Featuring an intro from fellow creative Yan Blaze, Saturn runs down reasons why a Capricorn is one you’ve got to watch–both for her creativity and for her independence from all of the BS of the world. All in all, it’s got me hyped for Saturn’s upcoming project SIGNS, which is due out September 17.
