Apollo and Pegs Give Listeners an Electric Summer

As I sit here wondering why DJ Khaled couldn’t just get The Weeknd on “GREECE,” DAR Elite‘s Shokus Apollo and J-Pegs the Legend give us an Electric Summer‘s worth of vibes. Apollo raps, waxes poetic and hits a falsetto on “She Bad.” Meanwhile, Pegs gives us some of his best bars this month. I say “this month” because Pegs is the definition of a workhorse (everyone with Elite is, but Pegs takes it to another level).

Featuring True God, Blxck Shxggy, Hab Rich and an appearance by your favorite No-Fi King, Electric Summer is 41 minutes of one of the most-unique duos you’ll find. Thankfully, I don’t get paid by any Elite members to give thoughts on their music (so you know I’m saying this truthfully and honestly). My favorite part of the project is the free-flowing nature of Apollo on Summer. Picking up, in some ways, where Diamonds are Unbreakable left off, Apollo is in his bag on this one. Check out Electric Summer above (or on your favorite DSP) and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
