The husband and wife duo of Ignite Mindz and Kayla Marie have a (good) problem on their hands with “OK so KO,” a track that is as lyrical as it’s genre-bending in its approach.

Over a Moog 15 and piano-heavy instrumental, Ignite gives us bars on top of bars about how he’s not only one of the best in his mind, but also one of the best I’ve seen. Why? Simply put, his ability to rap over just about any beat puts him in a stratosphere most artists don’t find themselves, in my humble (albeit slightly biased) opinion. It doesn’t matter the beat. The North Carolina rhymemaster will do his due diligence to rip it apart. It reminds me of an Eminem track, back when Marshall cared more about proving his worth in the game versus being slightly trolly in his approach to calling people out on their BS. It’s overall good music with a message besides “I’m the best at what I do.” That’s already a win. When you add in the lyricism, you’ve got a certifiable dope track in your eardrums. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
