Vorheez and Pancho Trackman Talk About Old News on First Drop from Collaborative EP

Above, we’ve got the jazzy stylings of Vorheez and Pancho Trackman. When chopping it up with the Massachusetts artist, I told him that the track reminds me a lot of something we’d get from RTJ. From the lyricism to the flow and all the way down to the bluesy production from the Sao Paulo producer who helms the beat, this is definitely a track you need in your Soundcloud playlists (and other playlists).

Trackman handles the entirety of the production on Vorheez’s upcoming EP, Tannins and Terps, which features “Old News” and drops this Friday. If it’s anything like this one, expect some jazzy hip-hop that’s still hard-hitting enough to make you break your neck ala Busta Rhymes. When asked why a Friday the 13th release date, the rapper simply said “because I’m Vorheez.” That’s good enough for me, since he’s scary good at what he does. I’ll be tapped into the project when it drops this Friday and I hope you all are too. The brother’s got some fire bars and his flow is gruff but still smooth. All in all, to paraphrase Vince McMahon’s infamous logic, it’s good shit. Check out the track above and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
