Chicago rapper The Last Maven hit my line today with the visuals to his latest track, “When A Man Sees Red.” Featuring the rhymesayer in an intense interrogation setting, the visuals for “Red” find Maven spitting his ass off while throwing investigators off the trail of their target.

Sonically, it’s a beautifully chaotic track, one that found its way into my earholes for most of the hour after I heard it. That’s, of course, not to say it’s not worth more than an hour’s worth of listens. However, I ran the track and its video back a few times to see every little nuance that went into crafting this short film. It’s a beyond solid song.
