The Black Abstract Presents Illegal

The Black Abstract has been very busy these last few weeks. He’s been featured on my IG feed and on SOTB proper. For “Illegal,” TBA spits a track that sounds like a mix between early Jeezy, old-school Clipse and throwback Wayne (think Carter I and II). Lyrically, there’s a lot to take in, even if the song is just about dealing within some illegal activities. I love the production on this one, as it hits that throwback mid-2000s energy perfectly. I like the song’s content as well, as it speaks on the legality of certain things while also framing them in a “this type of thing goes on everywhere, every single day–even if it shouldn’t” sort of way versus just celebrating the hood shit. Check out the track below and support dope music in all its forms.
