Between all that, we get a recap of sorts about where Connor has been and where he’s planning to go. Things have been a bit tough for the underground legend. However, he plans to continue fighting the good fight against naysayers, delivering good music as he does so.

The production here is clean and full of a great deal of emotion. The beat is easy to follow in some ways, as it focuses mainly on a piano melody. For me, it works better that way because it allows Connor to rap his soul and speak his truths.

The visuals feature Connor walking through parts of his hometown, both paying homage to earlier works and paving the way for this new era of his music. It’s a simple video, but one that hones in on showing where Connor’s been and where he wants to go. Overall, the entire package of song and video are incredible and may get you in your feelings about past events.
