The song has a bit of a long journey as it was first started two years ago. Tan’s upcoming marriage is what pushed this one across the finish line.

I like that love inspired this love song, but I also love the fact that this one is very reminiscent of the R&B and neo-soul I grew up with. It’s a bit playful at parts, but it’s also determined to make a lover out of you yet. Its silkiness helps that mission as it seems destined to turn any player into a Romeo.
