We’re about five hours until Valentine’s Day 2022. With that in mind, sometimes, there’s time to just hit and run. There’s nothing wrong with that, if we’re being honest. Some relationships are just good for the sex (unfortunately). However, in ROME BeGreat’s case, there’s a time to do that and more. On “Love Me Not,” the young Canadian artist gives us an anti-Valentine-Valentine. What that means is that it’s equally parts “I need love to” and “screw love, I’ma do what I want.” He lets us know that he believes he’s worthy of more than just sex and chocolate, instead seeking something deeper. However, he doesn’t exactly get it and he’s left holding his phone calling the woman he’s been interacting with. I’ve been in that position, not knowing where I stood with someone even thought I treated them like my main. How I bounced back is took some me time to figure out what I wanted out of love and life.
