Bowen Thi Takes Listeners on a Ride on “Ain’t My Fault”

Bowen Thi (fka Bowen) returns to SOTBMusic with his Weeknd-esque “Ain’t My Fault.” The song deals with the negatives that happen after a breakup. Specifically, it deals with the mental aspects after said relationship became toxic and ultimately ended. The song also deals with a bit of self-lying because Bowen longs for a time in the relationship where everything was copacetic.

The visuals feature a man who’s suffering from a mental health crisis of sorts looking for an unknown woman, who (without giving too much away) seems to be part of his breakdown. I love the song because it’s so dark and brooding, but also features some great discussions on mental health–specifically in the context of toxic relationships. If you’re in the mood for an alt-R&B song that delves pretty deeply into the deep end of relationship drama and the like, “Ain’t My Fault” is an excellent track. It’s also got me excited to see where Bowen Thi goes after his name change. Check out the song and visuals below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
