888moment and his team continue to take the Baltimore alt-rap scene by storm with his latest effort, “8:88.” The just-under-two-minutes-long song is like the type of music you’d see conscious rappers mosh to. That’s been one of several reasons why I’ve always been relatively quick to post bruhman’s music. I mean, it’s lyrical AF, speaks on real life issues, booms on the production side and still manages to have people making the screw face to it. What more could you want?
If this isn’t enough to make you want to check it out, I honestly don’t know what will. Yes, everything isn’t for everyone; I live by this philosophy. That said, the song, to me, is one you should peep at least once.
So give this a listen, support dope music in all its forms and support local artistry in all its forms. The Baltimore scene is in good hands, as long as you’ve got so many different vibes and sounds.
