BKM Presents “Negative Thoughts”

Above, we’ve got a new cut from Baltimore artist BKM. If the name sounds familiar, he just released the song “Sleep” not too long ago. I love this song’s honesty about mental health, bullying and how our general lack of empathy towards misunderstood people can lead to issues.

The song says to have a bit more kindness towards everyone and perhaps we’ll cut down on some of the negativity in our lives. It doesn’t go as far as to suggest that just being nice will stop tragedies by itself. Instead, it does go as far as to say that they can be limited by not treating people with mental health issues as lepers. We are all going through some degree of mental health issues, regardless of who we are. Overall, the message of “Negative Thoughts” is a message I can get behind. Check out the song above and remember to support your dope music in all its forms.
