Tommy Danger is one of several artists I’ve been introduced to via SubmitHub. His latest, “Winning,” feels like a mix between Big KRIT and Nas. In other words, it’s lyrical storytelling boombap meets lyrically-and-sonically-lush music about growth and introspection. I like this one especially because it’s got a driving drum pattern and mixes mainstream-esque vibes with underground inspirational hip-hop.
