It’s punchy, a bit carefree, lyrical and still manages to provide listeners with a positive message of “keep pushing even if people try to weigh you down.” On top of that, the track’s got a dope story of a guy pursuing a woman who typically just gets wined, dined and bought expensive things. He’s trying to work within his own confines and let the woman see that he’s actually a standup guy who, while he doesn’t have all the money in the world, has his head on straight and his heart in the right place.
