Jimmy Golden and PETE Present a Dark but Dreamy Track

Music’s fascination with serial killers aside, “Like Manson” from Jimmy Golden and PETE has a BROCKHAMPTON meets JPEGMAFIA sort of feel to it. The song, thankfully, doesn’t have that much to do with Charles Manson or anything occult or mass murder-centric. Otherwise, we’d probably have people calling for their cancelation–and mine (and I don’t have the time or energy for being canceled for sharing a song in my mid-30s).

Instead, we’re given a track that transcends beyond just typical alt-rap and becomes kind of a call-and-response meets bar-heavy attack to the system. It brings a bit of chaos to everything, while still maintaining its cool demeanor. The end result is a catchy track that also has its listeners barred up throughout everything. Check out the track below and support dope music in all its forms. If you’re feeling this one, I recommend checking out the collaborative effort Ultra Bliss, which just dropped this past Saturday.
