K Hus Presents “Provoke It”

Well, damn! This one took me back to my college and high school days. That’s because K Hus sampled CKay’s “Love Nwantii” on “Provoke It,” but was able to do so in a Jersey Club sort of way. What happens because of this is that listeners are treated to a bop that’s distinctly regional but also worldwide. I especially love the energy on this one. That’s mainly because the sample’s club elements make you want to dance and also grind up (with permission) on your shawty and get things popping in a sensual/sexual way.

In other words, it’s one of those perfect early fall tracks. It’s a slight cuff anthem but also an “I’m still just trying to get in where I fit” sort of cut. The track appears on Hus’ It Is Kool 2, which recently released. If this one’s any indicator, the young artist has a bright future (especially because of his ear for beats). Check out “Provoke” below and support dope music in all its forms.
