This is the first time I’ve had the pleasure to cover something from Cormega, who made his name during my childhood. That said, he hasn’t lost a step, and this one hammers that point home. The first single from The Realness II, Cormega raps over a timeless Havoc production about knowing who’s really down to ride with you. It’s one of those tracks that spits wisdom and will have your head bobbing as well. If you liked this one, I recommend the whole album for sure. We need more of the OGs still rapping (and not in a way that’s just tearing down the new kids on the block). So I welcome this one and ask you to support dope music in all its forms.
