Just Charles and aarvee Speak on Some “Self Doubts” on Latest

Being an artist–indie or otherwise–takes iron will and nerves of steel. If you can’t handle the criticism or battle against feelings of “worthlessness,” you need to go elsewhere. On “Self Doubts,” Just Charles and aarvee speak on some of those dark feelings and thoughts. Between “I want to quit the game” and “am I doing this right,” you find a truth that only you can tell yourself. That truth is this: the game isn’t easy. In fact, it’s Dark Souls hard 9/10 times. However, that one time you break through? It makes those other 9 times worth it. In order to see the sun (people saying that your music’s helped them and so on), sometimes you have to battle the rain. That’s just my opinion, of course, but it is a collection of words to live by.
