Michael Jackson’s ‘HIStory’ is, indeed, a long album. It’s 30 tracks over two discs, one of which is a greatest hits compilation. However, I was dead wrong in stating it was “bloated.” While a long project, it’s also (to me) a necessary listen, as it’s Michael Jackson’s most-personal album–and, at times, the most-revolutionary.
