ULTRAVIOLETENVY Presents Visuals for “TOXIC”

ULTRAVIOLETENVY’s “TOXIC” visuals are dream-like in some ways, abrasive in others. That’s perfect for a song that’s equal parts “I’m dope AF” and “you can’t bring me down.” The 21-year-old artist has been on my radar for a while, since his “FRIEND” track earlier this year. This one, from his SUEDE EP, features the artist speaking about himself and others in a way that’s definitely different than his approach on “FRIEND.” Overall, the song and its video are great additions to a growing soundscape. UVE’s got a distinct feel to his stuff, one that can’t/won’t be easily replicated. I also really loved the use of purple in the video, as purple has a lot of symbolism. Same with his use of flowers (potentially symbolizing growth and maturation). Check out the track below and support dope music in all its forms.
