Don’t think that, just because the SOTB site has started to go global, I forgot about the area that made me (the DMV, including, of course, Baltimore). IDK has transcended the region, but never forgets where he comes from. It’s that humbleness (but shit-talking when appropriate) that makes it easy to root for IDK.

His latest track, “Monsieur Dior,” started to come together during a hotel stay during his tour. The track and the visuals pretty much give you a look into his life, a look into his fans and their appreciation of IDK, and a look at the world at large. It also shows his love for the genre that made him, considering the track samples the same sample MF DOOM used for “One Beer.” Its black and white visuals add a sense of class to everything without being pretentious.
