Aries folks are cool by me. One of my favorite DMV-born artists, NighLawn, is an Aries. One of my good friends, she’s one as well. They’re dope people, captivating even. Granted, I prefer my Capricorn shawties; Aries are fire as well. Brandon Lott, a alt-soul singer from Indiana, has seemingly been captivated by one on his new cut “Aries.” The song is funky, smooth and pretty fiery. On top of this, it has a lot of old-school feels to it without feeling like it’s just ripping off the 70s and 80s. I really enjoy the overall story and the instrumentation as well. The visuals are a bit on the old-school side as well as they feature Lott and his band in a secluded area. Check it all out below and support dope music in all its forms.
